Award-winning wines

This week we received the results from two prominent Midwest wine competitions, Mid-American Wine Competition and the Missouri Wine Competition. We are pretty proud; we fared very nicely, taking home 34 medals between both competitions.

The Mid-American Wine Competition held annually in Ankeny, Iowa. We entered 19 of our wines into the competition and received 19 medals; we won 1 gold medal for Cats Meow, 8 silver medals and 10 bronze medals. To see the full competition results visit www.midamericanwine.org.

Today the Missouri Wine Competition announced their winners. We entered 18 of wines and received 15 medals — Wow!! We received 2 gold medals, including a Best of Class Dry White for Dry Vignoles, 7 silver medals and 6 bronze medals. To see how your favorite wine fared visit www.missouriwine.org.

We are quite pleased with the results from these competitions and we need to give a big pat on the back to our winemaker, Michael Rouse, and his production team. They work hard all year and deserve a big round of applause. We are so proud that Michael and his team are passionate about Missouri wines and always put the quality of our wine on the top of their to do list.

Cheers!
