Adam Puchta Winery in Hermann, MO held its 6th annual Doe Camp on Friday, November 4 and raised $23,200 for the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer and the Just Call Me Ray foundation. Doe Camp is a ladies night out, however “bucks” were welcome. The evening featured wine tastings, a variety of cash-and-carry vendors, raffles, live auction and much more.
Approximately 600 people attended the fundraiser. The proceeds are donated to the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer and to the Just Call Me Ray foundation to continue assisting those in the community fighting cancer and help raise awareness of early breast cancer detection and warnings about breast implants. This year’s combined proceeds from the large raffle packages, vendor drawings, live auction, Doe Camp t-shirt sales, Bra Pong, wine donations and other contributions earned the largest donation in the history of the Doe Camp event.
“I wish to thank all the winery employees for volunteering their time at this year’s Doe Camp; without their support the evening wouldn’t be nearly as successful,” says Aimee Viehmann, winery General Manager. “I also want to thank the vendors and donors, Tom Jacquin for emceeing and to all the ladies and “bucks” that came out to support us and the community. It’s fun and rewarding when so many people work together towards the same goal.”
The 2017 Doe Camp has been scheduled for Friday, November 3 and will be held at Adam Puchta Winery. To learn more about Doe Camp, visit www.adampuchatwine.com or call 573-486-5596.
