Are You Ready for Octoberfest 2014?

APW Sign with filter 2Adam Puchta Winery is geared up for a busy month so here’s a rundown of what’s going on at the winery the four weekends of Octoberfest!

October hours: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Weekend cover charge: $4/person, includes entertainment and featured wine tasting.

Sorry, no trolley service on Saturdays in October, but they will be running on Sundays to our winery.

Bistro open serving food on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Menu includes, but not limited to, locally produced bratwurst, Parker’s specialty pizzas, BLT sliders, BBQ Brisket Sliders, and more!

Cold wine and beer available by the glass or by the bottle. Coolers and picnic baskets are allowed on the grounds, however they will be checked for outside alcohol upon arrival.

Buses are not accepted on weekends without prior reservations. Only one bus will be scheduled on Saturdays and they must be on the grounds before Noon. Call Aimee at 573-486-5596 to make advance reservations.


October Music Line Up

First Weekend — October 4 & 5
  • Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Burnt Toast (rock)

Burnt Toast knows how to blend the old-school blues with a modern flare, all while putting on a great show.

  • Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Jim McClaren (blues/rock)

Jim McClaren is a one-man-band who’s playlist covers the spectrum of American roots music and original material.

Second Weekend — October 11 & 12
  • Saturday & Sunday from Noon until 4 p.m. — The Sins Country (country)

The Sins Country are country musics hottest new duo!! All the way from Nashville, TN, this husband and wife duo put on a great show, singing their own chart-topping songs, “Muscadine” and “Romeo and Juliet Sparks”. They will leave you humming their smooth tunes the rest of the day.

Third Weekend — October 18 & 19
  • Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Mick Byrd & the Backroad Band (classic rock)

Join us for live music by Mick Byrd and the Backroad Band. The band plays blues, country and even a little rock-n-roll. A music performance that you don’t want to miss.

  • Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Dennis Schilligo (classic rock)

Relish in the exceptional live music by Dennis Schilligo! Dennis is a skilled solo artist, guitarist and entertainer, with a large playlist featuring classic rock greats such as Crosby, Stills and Nash, Allman Brothers, The Eagles and more.

Fourth Weekend — October 25 & 26
  • Saturday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Russ Anderson (classic rock)

Russ Anderson is a St. Louis singer/songwriter who specializes in folk and country music. Russ’s playlist includes original songs as well as classics by John Denver, James Taylor, Hank Williams and Van Morrison.

  • Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. — Steve Leslie (rock)

Steve Leslie is a class act that will be performing popular covers from the 70’s to present day hits.  Steve is an outstanding guitar player with a sweet voice.
